Value Added Tax

The Isle of Man forms a common customs area with the United Kingdom. Accordingly, for almost all practical purposes, the Value Added Tax regime in the Isle of Man is the same as that in the United Kingdom, although it is administered by the Customs and Excise Division of the Isle of Man Treasury, and not by any United Kingdom agency or authority.

The VAT numbers issued are ‘GB’ numbers.
