Our tax team is made up of highly experienced professionals who work with our clients to ensure they are compliant with all aspects of their corporation tax obligations by gaining a deep understanding of the businesses.

Experience

Following completion of a degree in Biology with Geography, Lyndsay trained and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2005 with a local accountancy firm.

Lyndsay joined Grant Thornton in 2014 following a merger with the local office of another accountancy firm on the Isle of Man and was appointed Audit Director of Grant Thornton in 2018.

Along with a diverse client portfolio, Lyndsay is the qualified person responsible for the training of student staff at Grant Thornton in the Isle of Man. She has been involved in the training and implementation of the current audit software and methodology at Grant Thornton Isle of Man.

Lyndsay has been involved in the audit of entities in a number of sectors including Public Sector entities, financial services companies, regulated entities, charities, property investment companies and retail businesses.

She is keen to keep up to date with the regulatory requirements for businesses on the Island and ensures she keeps up to date with the ever changing financial reporting standards including UK GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards along with International Standards on Auditing (UK).

Lyndsay enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog on the many beautiful beaches and glens on the Isle of Man.
